Investing in a Vibrant Jewish Community
The Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks, a charitable non-profit organization, was originally founded in 1929 in Trenton to meet the needs of individuals, families, and communities locally, in Israel, and in over 60 countries around the world. Our local Jewish Federation is one of 157 who, as a whole, have met the needs of millions of Jews worldwide for decades.
The mission of the Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks is to preserve, secure, and strengthen Jewish life and values in our community, the State of Israel, and throughout the world.
The vision of the Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks is to be:
- The primary Jewish fundraising organization in our community, that enables us to provide critical assistance to agencies supporting our mission.
- The central organization that brings together agencies and people dedicated to maintaining, enriching, and empowering the Jewish community from generation to generation.
Our Primary Activities
- We fundraise to enable us to distribute allocations that help to support local, national, and international agencies that provide vital services to Jews and their communities all over the world.
- We bring together individuals and organizations in a unique network of partnerships, which leverage and optimize the value of any single donation.
- We assist agencies every year, meeting and strategizing with them to help us understand emerging issues, response with crisis intervention, and engaging in long-term planning which allows us to allocate limited resources in a strategic and targeted manner for maximum collaboration and impact.
- We respect the expertise of agencies servicing particular needs, but we serve the ENTIRE community. We are a collective, unique agency because we have the experience, resources and relationships to affect Jewish lives across the globe.
