Adath Israel's Sacks-Wilner Holocaust Education Program presents: There's Got to be Someone who will Help You! Bound for Sorbibor death camp, 13-year old Rose Lipszyc was pushed off the road by her mother and told to run. "There's got to be someone who will help you, " her mother said. "If you survive, I will through you". Rose survived through the help of Stanislav and Maria Jablonski, a Christian Polish couple, whose granddaughter, Janina Zak-Krasucki, lives in Mercer County and is a supervisor of special education for the New Jersey Department of Education. Rose and Janina recently met for the first time and formed an instant bond. Come hear their story of survival, rescue and connection.
